Setback for Equality: Supreme Court Blocks Transgender Teen's Bathroom Access

Nadia Prupis, staff writer

The U.S. Supreme Court on Thursday blocked an order (pdf) that gave a transgender Virginia teen access to the same school restrooms as his male peers, which means he will not be able to use the facilities that correspond to his gender identity when classes resume in the fall.

What? The supreme court is already not supporting progressive values? Must be progressives fault for not planning on voting for Hillary in November.

What makes you say that? Matt, your ignorance is on even greater display than that of Chief Justice Roberts. Adolescence is when gender dysphoria is most likely to lead to suicide, even when, like GG, you have excellent parental support. That's when my child tried it. They took the bag off their head when they realized how it would hurt those of us who loved them, and that we didn't have words for what they were experiencing either (this child is now 38).

No one else should have anything to say about it, let alone which bathroom someone should use.

That is misogynistic as well as transphobic. Please look up how far outside of chambers the original female Justice had to go to find a restroom. And it's Kagan. And where's Ginsburg?
