Seems like the only winners coming out of the c-virus pandemic, when it does abate, will, of course, be big incompetent corporations. Or money well spent when they bought Congress. Seems socialism is just fine for them. ‘Moscow’ Mitch and his gang of yahoos are scheming to screw the little guys any way they possibly can.

Age old sentiment for tort reform on steroids. What they have always wanted. As many ways to get our money with no responsibility.
There must be a name for that.

Every time there is a crisis, the taxpayer and the needy are called on to bail out the banks and the major financial institutions. If you had a real capitalist economy in place, that would not be happening. Capitalists who made risky investments and failed would be wiped out. But the rich and powerful do not want a capitalist system. They want to be able to run the nanny state so when they are in trouble the taxpayer will bail them out. The conventional phrase is “too big to fail.”

In a democracy “too big to fail” (tbtf) would be too big to exist, as Senator Sanders has reminded us many times during the past decade.

FDR’s New Deal regulations prevented corporations from becoming tbtf until decriminalization of those regulations in the name of “deregulation” between 1978 and 2003 enabled tbtf expansion on an unprecedented scale.

This is so laughably unconstitutional it deserves to be framed and put on a wall. Of course the unelected Supreme Court, which is in a zombie-fascist state, will wave it through.

FDR also tried to pack the courts, but missed being able to do that because of some cowardly Democrats.

Screw the little guy.

How about we use the word that puts the biggest fear into capitalists, COMMUNISM.
I realize it’s nothing of the sort, but getting the people to call it that might give them pause.

The architects of radical evil are disemboweling every last social service program funded by the taxpayers, from education to Social Security, because lives that do not swell their profits are considered superfluous. Let the sick die. Let many of the poor—[41 million people]
including children—go to bed hungry. Let families be tossed into the streets. Let the young graduate have no meaningful employment. Let the U.S. prison system, with 25% of the world’s prison population, swell. Let the roads, bridges, dams, levees, power grids, rail lines, subways, bus services, schools and libraries crumble or close. Let the rising temperatures, the droughts, the flooding, the wildfires, the melting polar ice caps, the poisoned water systems and the polluted air worsen. There is profits to be made.
