I’ve explored Bears Ears and Grand Escalante. Both are outstanding world class monuments. Thanks, Joe, for ignoring the loud irritating voices of the Mormons in Utah who want to develop everything.

Yes there is. I call it ‘don’t watch the news’ or even better, ‘kill your tv.’
This is nice but why wasn’t it done within a month in office? More Democrat foot dragging. Remember when Harris said “we can walk & chew gum at the same time”? Apparently they can’t because they’ve been stumbling around like drunks for months.
From here on out, we can’t afford to skip a single beat with the originary peoples on Turtle Island and the rest of the world. It is precisely the peoples and practices that have been “externalized” - the colonizer’s get out of jail free card, leaving far too many of us human beings impoverished in terms of capacity to use alternative structures. Hence cripplingly dependent on the corporations . Remember the propaganda about ‘the information age’? What do you think they were talking about?
We must leave behind the fake names (much less the fake news) imposed by the PTB. We must become mavens of structuralism - the spectrum of ideas thousands of years old; colonizers forced “assimilation”. Guess what, WASPS internalized assimilation with the emperor Constantine and the ping-pong game of “you must become me” swings slack-jawed toward the abyss.
And on top of that, this will be worthwhile only if they stop giving away the rest of the show with the other hand. If they really mean to protect these lands, they have to protect the freedom to vote which keeps them in the People’s hands.
