Super Bowl As Culture War: America Is Beautiful But Wait Why Are Those Brown Faces On My Tee Vee Screen?

For the stolid cave-dwellers among you: Sunday, there was a big football game. Many of its much-hyped ads featured images and narratives celebrating the once-all-American concepts of tolerance, diversity and opportunity - ideas now evidently offensive to TrumpenFührer fans, who swiftly, righteously called for boycotts. In a sign of their showing isolation, though, many of their targets are as all-American as you can get: Budweiser once even changed its name to America, for God's sake. With 97 more companies signing on to oppose the infamous ban, some suggest we may be able to reduce the right to" living off squirrel meat & pond water."
