There is an inherent conflict between current trade commitments to foreign countries, for market access toi our sevices and procurement markets, (jobs) especially least developed countries, and preferences historically used to level the playing field for historically mistreated groups.

If the issues of economic justice were addressed by a 2nd FDR not a black Ronald Reagan wantabe like Obama or a Wall Street friend like Banker Joe, the poor would actually find their lot improved regardless of ethnic considerations. Only the top 10% are thriving in the US and most live in Urban areas like NYC or SF. From the hood to the hollow, from the catfish to the Kingfish the increasing hoarding of wealth, untaxed and moved to foreign tax shelters, is destroying the fabric of this nation. Not addressed the slide into 3rd world status will continue. Was the Federal minimum wage raised to 25 dollars per hour when Obama had 60 votes in the Senate and no excuses? Was anything done?
