The Moment of Silence

The Moment of Silence

Robert C. Koehler

This is big. A new civil rights era births itself in terrible pain.

Black men die, over and over. I can only hope that peace is the result, serious peace, bigger than new laws, bigger than better trained police — agape peace, you might say, peace that is, in the words of Martin Luther King, “an overflowing love which seeks nothing in return.”

Take the money out of the police retirement fund not from the city coffers, and the boys will start watching themselves! peace

Literally, the victims of police violence and murder have been ordered to get off the streets. What balls on those fascist bastards! They murder a 24 year old man in the prime of his life and when they get totally warranted blow back they punish the victims. Holy shit Batman! As if that isn’t enough the injustice system dares to insinuate the murder victim of a gang of policemen killed himself?

It’s impossible to comprehend the insanity behind these inhumane jackasses. If this is the standard of justice in Baltimore it looks just like a Viet Nam era “free fire zone”.
