You can not have a flawed Democracy if you have no Democracy. The United States of America is an Oligarchy. Just because a people get to place their mark on a Ballot every 4 years, it hardly means they live in a Democracy.

Wonder why Trump insults Puerto Rico and treats Florida with kid gloves? He needs Florida to win the election. On the other hand, the Puerto Ricans can vote all they want, but they have no electoral votes, so it doesn’t really matter.

I’ll be happy for Puerto Rico a moment if only what I’m hearing about Dorian missing the island is true. They don’t need another hurricane right now.

If Puerto Ricans had access to anything like democracy, I think they’d leave this great union – given the record we’ve left of how much we care for them.
