Leading up to today’s primary election, North Carolina has been the focus of national discourse on the right to vote and the fundamentals of democracy. North Carolina has one of the most restrictive voter ID laws in the nation, as well as some of the most blatant gerrymandered electoral maps. Given these facts, it’s no wonder that North Carolinians, and especially young people, feel disenfranchised by our political system and are seeking reform.
RepubloCons have ruined any semblence of democracy that was building in NC since the Civil Rights movement.
