Herstory was made this week. The U.S. Supreme Court settled a major battle over women’s reproductive rights, overturning Texas’s notorious anti-abortion law known as HB 2. The court’s 5-3 decision in Whole Woman’s Health v. Hellerstedt ruled that the Texas law violated the right of women to abortion access. HB 2 is one of scores of so-called TRAP laws that have proliferated around the country.
Significant outcome, too.
Was the headline written by the hip-hop artist Nelly? "So hot in HER, see me stompin' in my her force ones, herstory" lol
The United States is fairly evenly divided over abortion, and women are nearly as likely to oppose the operation as are men.
Women are more likely to value marriage than are men, and less likely to enjoy casual sex and sexual variety. Many women would rather hear their boy friends ask, "Will you marry me?" than say, "Don't worry Honey. I will pay for an abortion."
