The worms are turning!!! All over the planet. Next country?

A sleeping giant has been awakened! El pueblo unido jamás será vencido

The status of PR as colonial pawn and revenue source for the rich must be ended. The roll of predatory mainland bankers and their robbery, aided by ambitious turncoats serving the interests of wealth and exploitation while the people of PR scrape-by ended!. This is hopefully " just the first step toward bringing about necessary systemic changes to the island’s political system and economy."

The people of the US must take a lesson from PR, but, alas, are much too comfortable - “when you got nothing, you got nothing to lose”, and too many falsely believe they have whats important - even when a people are being robbed, lives shortened, prospects denied, crony corruption rampant, aspirations stymied by the lies and diverted resources for war and military, arms-industry worship, they still cling to the hope - now a mirage - that surely their leaders cannot be as deceitful, corrupt and complicit as they seem. Time for a change here as well!

We have the money to build a healthy, sustainable, just, future for all , but are sold-out by entrenched politicians serving not the nation and people, but greed and self-interest; our wealth diverted to the connected co-conspirators and sapped by the war-machine. There have always been “rich” and “poor” but never in recent memory the disparities and corruption so extreme, and that crime and enormous theft must be smashed!

“Those that ignore the past are condemned to repeat it” - George Santayana

Viva Puerto Rico! Hasta La Victoria Siempre!

What is the lesson here? Could it be that mass movements really do work? They do IF and WHEN the opposition, we the people, have a clear objective and understand our power. Main stream politicians and the media, also known as the establishment, will keep us in the dark forever but we do have the power to change. Bernie knows that and is feared. Tulsi now knows that and is also feared. We must force these bought out corrupted establishment lackeys to act and this is the only way, it is the real power we hold. It is time friends, we must face these very real dangers and have to force these reactionary politicians to act or get out of the way. It is our very survival at stake. Puerto Rico took their future into their hands and have shown us the way. Thanks!!

As we used to say: !Viva Puerto Rico Libre y Socialista!

Note: The Puerto Rican people did not rally around a Savior politician. This was not a movement of a political Party. There was no One Supernatural Leader that led this successful revolutionary movement. It was half a million people rising up together. Folk in this US mainland should follow this example.

Waiting a week?! Not much of a people’s coup. They need to drag his a$$ from the palace, hang him from the nearest tree, chop him up and use him for chum.

I hope you are right. There is certainly increased support these days in Puerto Rico for ridding themselves of their colonial yoke. Trump’s abuse and scorn for the island and its suffering has been the best argument for tossing out the US in decades.

The challenge will be huge as the US government and establishment are not going to want to let the island escape its limbo status as a colony by either letting it go independent or admitting it as a 51st state.

But Viva la lucha! This struggle must go from victory to victory!

Where to start on the mainland, Trump or Pelosi?

International Monetary Fund, you have been advised.

“This is an island is governed by the old guard, but [now] the youngsters are saying we had enough we are now going to take our future of our islands in our hand,” he said, adding that Puerto Ricans were also frustrated at being treated as “second-class citizens by Washington, DC”.

Do both and start with Wall street.

This article doesn’t mention TULSI GABBARD went to Puerto Rico to join protestors…but quotes Warren and Sanders instead.

Might poison the fish…

Having one corrupt party impeaching another corrupt party gets us nowhere–which is why they do it.

Tells you all you need to know about CD.

We have heard from some that violence is a bad move. What is sad, is that for the moment, OTHER countries can stand up to tyrants, but not here.

" Conventional wisdom would have one believe that it is insane to resist this, the mightiest of empires, but what history really shows is that today’s empire is tomorrow’s ashes; that nothing lasts forever, and that to not resist is to acquiesce in your own oppression. The greatest form of sanity that anyone can exercise is to resist that force that is trying to repress, oppress, and fight down the human spirit."

Congratulations to the Puerto Rican people. More work to be done! Keep moving forward! Revolution is a long process.

Another favor Orangeman bestows on history. The squeezing of PR goes back to the roots of Empire, but Orangeman – lord love a duck – keeps popping the carbunkle of colonialism.
