This Wall Street PAC Bankrolling Democrats Thinks Being Progressive Means Mirroring Betsy DeVos

Steven Singer

Democrats for Education Reform (DFER) put out a new video about what they think it means to be an education progressive.

And by the political action committee’s definition, Betsy DeVos may be the most “progressive” education secretary ever.

She champions “public charter schools.” Just like them!

Wall Street.

Now there’s a cesspool of corruption. A great place for 45 to build his wall around.

Early last year, mainstream liberals went into apoplectic rages over the nomination of Betsy De Vos… and proved they were total hypocrites with their ignorance of all the harm Arne Duncan had done to the public education system over the previous years.

It seems the purpose of a Democrat, these days, is to exemplify moral and intellectual hypocrisy while serving modern fascism far better than any Republican could (Exhibit A: BARACK OBAMA, the banality of evil personified; the president who needlessly rescued modern, environment-collapsing fascism just as it was self-destructing… in the Middle East, on Wall Street, etc.).

Only evil this monstrous could make millions turn – in ignorance and desperation – to a repellent, obvious huckster like Donald J. Trump. And the only reason they did so was because he wasn’t as openly fascist as the supremely overconfident Sec. Clinton.

Until the duopoly’s stranglehold is broken, we can hope for no better leaders than the current wretched lot. But that’s on all of the true “deplorables,” the moral and intellectual weaklings who vote for the GOP/Democrats, year in, year out.

Isn’t it curious how so many of the ignorati can understand Newspeak, but can’t tell when it’s being spoken? It’s a testament to the power of Newspeak itself.

My home state Colorado Dems told DFER to take a hike at its state assembly back in April. The booing of DFERs Colorado State Director during her address made clear the divide between establishment Dems and party activists. They overwhelmingly amended their platform to read: “We oppose making Colorado’s public schools private or run by private corporations or becoming segregated again through lobbying and campaigning efforts of the organization called Democrats for Education Reform and demand that they immediately stop using the party’s name Democrat in their name.”

Now if I can just get the same action in Virginia…

To be sure there is nothing progressive about the DFER, but, then, there was nothing progressive about Obama and Arne Duncan, either.

Lastly, there’s nothing progressive about the author’s cheap shot at third party voting, either. The article could have done without perpetuating this long-standing Democratic party establishment myth. The author’s so-called “surge in third party voting” in 2016 amounted to a fraction of 1% over 2012 for Jill Stein and the Greens. Of course, that was enough to make Stein the Ralph Nader of 2016 in the eyes of establishment Democrats who, as always, think they are entitled to assume that Jill Stein voters would have voted for Clinton as a second choice. That’s total bullshit, of course, but for the sake of argument, using their own pretzel logic, Gary Johnson would have cost Trump far more votes than Stein cost Clinton. Johnson got three times the votes that Stein got in the key battleground states of Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. That, of course, the Democratic establishment conveniently ignores in their pathetic need to find scapegoats for their failures.

“So if Democrats want strong support in the coming elections, they need to do the progressive thing.”

We don’t need Vichy democrats doing, “the progressive thing”.
We need to replace them all with democrats willing to fight against Capital rather than take bribes from them.

This is exactly why we need to get rid of the two party system in this nation. Both sides play us against each other. I for one am growing real tired of this BS. We are American citizens, and we get treated like we’re all morons. These people whom call themselves our leaders are just ( FAKE NEWS ). They do what best for them and their corporations. If you don’t see this you are brain dead. How long will WE THE PEOPLE TAKE THIS?. WAKE THE HELL UP AMERICA. It’s time to stand and fight for our nation and our very existences.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Only worse.

The truth is this country is absolutely filled to the brim with morons of every stripe. The ignorance is layered like an onion, each layered on the other and absolute in the false realities created. America will never wake up…America is programmed to be obedient wage/debt slaves.

Americans are being brainwashed from cradle to grave ( & always have been ). Exceptional? Not in a million years.
