Aren’t conservatives always huffing and puffing about “moral hazard”—you know, like how feeding and housing the poor makes them lazy? How about the moral hazard of not punishing corporations and the obscenely wealthy when they break the law?

I worry that those banksters who drove the economy into a ditch and walked away unscathed are rehearsing for a comeback tour, having drawn the obvious conclusion that they’ll get away with it again.
