The people protesting are protesting because they do not want these pipelines built and crossing First Nations traditional territories. They feel that rather then add even more oil and gas infrastructure projects that in order to combat climate change we must transition from fossil fuels and not invest even more in the same. The First nations peoples remain one of the strongest allies against oil and gas expansion due to their inherent rights as the peoples who first populated these lands.

Trudeau’s “call to dialogue” is “end those blockades and we can talk about this more until you accept more Oil and gas pipelines”.

Trudeau in essence is saying “White Colonialism must continue and “The Great white father” knows what is best for his children”

God I hate that little punce! The queen aught to take him over her knee. Except that he’d enjoy that too much.

For the message to get across, oil transport has to be disrupted or nothing good will happen. In more than one place in any given line. The oil interests leave no other choice.

Run the pipeline through Andrew Sheer’s front yard, then lets have a dialogue. I argue then that its Sheer who is holding up the white colonial economy.
