Trump Cabinet Secretary Called 'Sociopath' After Calling US Bombing of Syria 'After-Dinner Entertainement'

Jon Queally, staff writer

Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross is under fire—with one journalist calling it the behavior of a 'sociopath'—following crude remarks made Monday in which he described the U.S. bombing of Syria as "after-dinner entertainment" at President Trump's private Mar-A-Lago estate while hosting Chinese President Xi Jinping last month.

This self righteous elitist prick needs to be given a jail cell and bread and water (from Flint, Michigan) for thirty days, and see if his attitude improves.

If that doesn't work, deport him to Antarctica.

#3

An Internet troll is a sociopath. Someone who calls death and destruction "entertainment," while shamelessly lying about the consequences ("cost"), is a psychopath. Why soft pedal this scumbag?

#4

What a sick bastard. But-typical for the mind-set that now is in full blossom in the Uber-White, Uber-"Christian", Uber-self Righteous U S of A

#5

Deport him to Syria, and let him be the next target of "After Dinner Entertainment"

#6

If a person on the street were to say that he/she blew up a building and took lives for "entertainment", they would be arrested and subject to psychiatric assessment. Note two very important aspects to this: 1) this is a "PUBLIC SERVANT" paid for by public tax$ and the undermining of that by Citizens United dark money; 2) It is solely by dint of the fact that this was not done on US soil that #1 is 'dissociated' from the context of an action demanding there be appropriate action taken to remove the abuser of public office. If I recall correctly, there has been no declaration of war approved by Congress and the precedents for presidential action have become the material for 'sociopathic' parasitic gaffaws by increasingly kleptocractic factions.

This man obviously has no sense of decency.

He is a perfect example of some individuals inability to perceive the pain and suffering of others, he really believes he or his own will never be in such dire straits. (and due to where he is -- he's probably right)

ETA: sociopath: a person with a personality disorder manifesting itself in extreme antisocial attitudes and behavior and a lack of conscience.

#8

Christian? Not in the slightest sense of the word.

Syria is a good drop off point for these 'lower than pond scum' lifeforms.

#9

And what exactly did Obama, the Clintons, the Bushes, et. al. call their bombings of Mediterranean, West Asian, Balkan, North African and Persian Gulf nations and peoples? Oh wait, they know how to be polite with their war crimes, crimes against humanity and mass murder. Trump is so declasse.

What a creep!

#11

Yes someone ought to send him the body parts for his after dinner dessert

Wilbur Ross was speaking to the wealthy and probably mostly Jewish audience in Beverly Hills...and his cruel, crass, and creepy statement was meant to appeal to their anti-ALL-Arab sentiments. This malevolent moneylender cares not about anyone beneath his socioeconomic level of the .001% Wonder how many in the audience have offshore accounts in the Bank of Cyprus (Ross is a major shareholder and member of the board of directors)?

Interesting how Rep Liu's request for an apology was to the military: "Secretary Wilbur Ross needs to apologize," Lieu declared in a tweet Monday night. "US military is not a toy and should never be used for 'entertainment.'" Apologize to the military???? WTF The apology should be to the Syrian civilians (men, women, and children) who are the HUMAN victims of the military's action who have leveled their villages and killed their relatives and animals (at the direction of the demented demagogue in the WH). But that kind of apology might undermine the totalitarian "authority" of the emperor.

Evil and maleveolence are requisite character traits for any and all DJT anointees and slobbering sycophantic minions, which is readily apparent over the last horrific months of his tyranny.

In the early 1800s, doctors who worked with mental patients began to notice that some of their patients who appeared outwardly normal had what they termed a “moral depravity” or “moral insanity,” in that they seemed to possess no sense of ethics or of the rights of other people. The term “psychopath” was first applied to these people around 1900. The term was changed to “sociopath” in the 1930s to emphasize the damage they do to society. Currently researchers have returned to using the term “psychopath.”

Hillary fell into socio-pathology when she cackled about the grisly death of Khaddafi.

So yeah, mostly polite, but prone to slip ups.

#15

Typical of an uncultured poltroon.

#16

Yeh, I'd forgotten that. "We came, we saw, he died..."

#17

Not only did it not cost Donald Trump to bomb Syria (it cost American taxpayers almost 100 million dollars), but he made money from it. He owns stock in Rayethon, the maker of Tomahawk missiles. Its stock rose after the Syrian bombing and, of course, taxpayers will have to buy 60 more Tomahawks to replace those used because daughter Ivanka was upset by videos of the chemical attack. Apparently, videos of the total destruction of rebel strongholds, otherwise known as cities, and the deaths of thousands.

#18

(continued) had no effect.

#19

Wilbur the Pig is overdue for a big load of Karma.

#20

Looked up both words. I think sociopath more closely defines this asshole.
