A judge gave Arpaio a Court Order to stop the rough treatment of Hispanic Americans and improve jail conditions. That means he had a specified period of time to show improvement. Arpaio ignored the court order and continued the rough treatment. You just don’t ignore a judge’s court order and expect to be back in court expecting different treatment for illegal conditions in your jails and procedures for dealing with Hispanic Americans. The Arpaio jail had the track record by far of the most suicides in the state. Arpaio is guilty as charged and is in “contempt of court.” A Trump Pardon is nothing short of meddling in the judicial branch of government when constitutional law clearly states the executive branch does not have the authority to do so.
