Trump Said Considering Extradition of Turkish Cleric to Quiet Erdogan on Khashoggi Murder

Juan Cole

NBC News maintains that four sources in US government agencies (probably the FBI and the State Department) told its reporters that the Trump White House is seeking ways to expel Turkish religious leader Fethullah Gulen. But the kicker is that Trump apparently is exploring the extradition as a bribe to shut Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan up about the murder of dissident journalist Jamal Khashoggi on the orders of crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman.

Gee, why would Trump want to quiet Erdogan?

The Saudis are capable of doing that.

If trump or the administration think that extradition of the cleric will serve to ‘shut up’ Erodogan, then journalists are not doing their jobs. Do they really think that such a ‘deal’ would actually be a ‘one off’?
Not in my opinion. This cabal of desperately avaricious and amoral international leaders are playing a demonic game of human sacrifice and the first assassination, that of Khashoggi - A JOURNALIST - was to run the shit sheet up the flag pole to test the winds of international public opinion and reaction/response.
Look beyond the ‘chessboard’ of the moment these [expletive deleted] are slathering their fecal investments on. Note, in this case the ‘fecal’ also indicates a stage of already having ‘consumed’ and processed rendering this the obfuscation of transition to ‘new possibilities’ involving tropes of ‘terror’ among other playing pieces.

The trumpenfuhrer shows his depraved indifference and lack of any trace of morality or good judgment by this and countless other acts showing his mental illnesses… If Gulen is returned to Turkey he will face a similar situation as Khashoggi, although with the appearance of “justice”., to his imprisonment or execution, rather than the outright murder/assassination Khashoggi received at the order of the “royal” murderer…the same "justice all the thousands of so-called “coup plotters” received at Erdogan’s hands. Despots and the mentally diseased tend to flock together…

Sibel Edmonds has reported in depth on Fethullah Gullen. Gullen’s story would be unbelievable if it wasn’t true. Gullen’s network is immense. As an example, Gullen has the largest number of charter schools in the US. Gullen was spirited out of Turkey by the CIA, late into the Clinton administration. Gullen brought a pro western form of Islam. Imagine a brand of Islam where capitalism is embraced and and Zionism is blessed. That’s just what the CIA wants. Gullen is a CIA asset.
Juan Cole fails to mention that there is hard evidence that parts of US government were complicit in the coup against Erdogan. Erdogan knows this for certain and sharply changed his stance with the US afterwards.

Word! Especially the one-off aspect.

Well the CIA has put the kibosh on that “lower level” Saudi story. They’ve announced their conclusion Crown Prince bin Salman ordered the assassination. It’s astonishing the number of U.S./Saudi deals…other than Trump and Kushner. Many have been withdrawn or postponed after Khashoggi’s death…here’s a list:

Juan,
Gulen never should have been allowed to come to the US at the time he did. He was working with Ergodan up to that point. Setting up US schools, a man with his political connections?? Ew.

It is my understanding that Turkey had a secular government with a mixed population of largely moderate Muslims until Gulen starting pushing Erdogan toward a more stricktly religious form of government. Failing, he sought Ergodan’s ouster, and being found out, was welcomed to the US, where he continued to promote Muslim rule. Charter schools in the US means US government funded parochial school with Gulen policies are being taught??? Have I got this right? It sounds incredible.

So our Pusillanimous-Polecat-in-Chief is really considering sacrificing the life of a courageous man of God to his personal business interests? What a truly horrid world he and his Congressional accomplices have created. The are all going to hell and I, for one will be there to cheer thm on!

Gulen Movement is 100% dangerous, and the schools in the USA and 4 universities have poached billions of dollars from local communities in grants, bonds and other construction scams. Their protection and power in the USA is over, the money laundering ring worldwide has been arrested, accounts frozen and fake business fronts siezed., their political influence in the USA is over and DC lobbying almost non - existent. As well as their politicians that once were heavily into the pockets of the movement are either voted out of office like Rohrbacher or have been arrested for fraud as ex Congressman Stockman who was just sentenced to 10 years in federal prison 2 weeks ago in Houston, Tx

The big fish in the USA was Kemal Oksuz who fled the USA in 2016 during a US House Ethics Probe on the money laundered from Azerbaijan to 10 members of congress to travel to Azerbaijan for a business conference involving SOCAR (A Gulenist controlled state oil company) Kemal Oksuz’s arrest in Armenia via Interpol and his return to USA will be a pivotal point in the Gulen trials.

Erdogan has dismantled some 70 schools of CIA backed Gulen in 44 countries with over 80 Gulenists being extradited to Turkey to stand trial. On 11/15 the MIT was in Houston, TX with an arrest of a Gulen Member who was the manager of their Raindrop Turkish House just one of the many fake dialogue centers in the USA and world. Gulen likes to refer to his dialogue centers as a “spider web” used to gain local sympathizers to the movement.

There is no good guys in this horrific game that involves the children of the United States of America and stealing of billions. The education at these Gulen Schools is below average but they sell it as “US News and World Report ranked” which means absolutely nothing. Most of the awards their schools received are from the Gulen sponsored events. One other footnote to this is the Gulen Movement tried for years to wedge their schools on US military bases. They did manage to open on Nellis AFB and Davis-Monthon AFB, they are also heavily involved with Heroin trafficking .

Old Goat well written but are you aware that Khahoggi is not just a mere “journalist” but part of the Yasin Al Qadi Operation Gladio and one time fighter in the US sponsored Mulhajeen in Afghanistan. Khashoggi was also a large supporter of the Wahabi Gladio armies that invaded Syria to destroy the Syrian nation which is probably the most secular constitution of Arab countries with a strong thriving Christian community along with 36 ethnic groups and over 18 sects that live together as “Syrians”
Khashoggi may or may not be dead, who knows there is no body but believe me he was no saint. There are no good guys in this ugly chessboard but the stakes are high it involves isolating Russia, Iran & China and controlling not only the world’s energy sources but commodities: Cotton (textiles), Sugar, Chocolate, Heroin, gold, etc., Hopefully soon the Gulen Movement will be dismantled in the USA, Gulen will not be sent back to Turkey but he will pass away …sooner rather than later.

Yes Helen in fact it was the CIA backed Gulen Movement that put AKP into power and groomed and worked with Erdogan up until about late 2013 during the “shoebox scandals” and arrests of key AKP cabinet members and some of the sons of cabinet members.
