In my neighborhood two white gay men adopted a black boy several years ago. Having watched that boy develop into mid-adolescence, I can attest that his life is certainly all for the better than I imagine it otherwise might have been. Bug off South Carolina with your bigotry. I only have a buffer of one state between myself and you. The twenty-first century awaits you, just like the twentieth did.
Isn’t it a shame that bigotry of all forms exists and is sustained by our fellow Americans in the voting booth?
Thank the Lord for those with hearts impervious to the hate and division spoon fed to us from birth to death.
