Trump's Use of Pentagon Cash to Prop Up Scottish Resort Latest Example of Why He 'Must Be Impeached': AOC

The Pentagon is a fat cash cow that apparently answers to no one. It doesn’t have to. Congress constantly thanks them for their service through Lockheed-Martin, Raytheon, and hundreds of other military contractors who donate to their campaigns. Of course we all know endless war is profitable. Corruption is rampant, even transparent, all the way up to that fat turd in the White House.

To Carl Marks: You may mean well but consider this quote from Marilynne Robinson: “Cynicism is the great enabler of corruption, normalizing and universalizing it so that any particular instance of wrongdoing can be left to fester or metastasize as the world wags.”

If they used to push back but now they don’t, I think they realize they have been conned by the conman and are too embarrassed to try to defend the clown in chief any longer.

Fixing infrastructure sounds good but all I’ve noticed so far has been roads expansion for ever greater number of fast moving 18 wheelers and cars. The US based oil cartels diverting cash from public transit, light rail, train transportation to highway expansion again. The government must invest in the re-industrialization of our country since Reagan’s idea of “service economy” has been only serving a few at the very top (and he knew that well). Government not the private sector must invest in research and development, provide zero interest loans to locally based small businesses acros the country and ban chain store expansions. A trip to Europe can be an eye opener to those of us pickled in americanism, junk food and fast foods consumption. There is absolutely no need for giant corporate owned super markets like Wal-Mart, home depot, Amazon etc…marts. Ordinary locals should own and operate community based business not corporate chains if we are ever to see recovery again in this country.

Do we know why NONE of what Don has done is impeachable? Looks like The Owners are quite comfortable with a seditionist, liar and walking fraud as “president.”

Right. Nonetheless, they are continually taken seriously - for which the corporate (Republican-owned) mainstream media has a lot of responsibility.

That should be oligarch/.01% owned. Party doesn’t matter when controlling the narrative that the plebs are force fed with “information”/“news”.

Not going to argue that.

It will be difficult to trace where all these funds are going. This excerpt from the article posted by me is rather disconcerting:
‘No one in the Democratic congressional leadership suggested that Trump’s open defiance of the Constitution was an impeachable offense. On the contrary, they warned that a future Democratic president might imitate Trump’s rule by decree, using the same executive powers to impose measures related to gun control or climate change without congressional consent.’

You are so right – the daily grocers that spring up on the sidewalk that offer fresh everything in Paris and Antwerp – it even gives the shoppers a chance to converse with their neighbors! But hey, we “rugged individualists” wouldn’t have any idea how to be ‘neighborly’!

That’s b/c with the idiot in power they are allowed to rape, pillage and plunder to their hearts’ content and all he sees is himself.

My “cynicism” is based on history and past performance of the two-mentioned corporate-owned, political SCUM! Your denial of that is reprehensible and “an enabler of corruption, etc.” Maybe you need to wake up to facts, eh?

The military public budget, rounded off, is $800,000,000,000. About half of the actual amount allotted to warmongering annually. Some say $22,000,000,000,000 is unaccounted over a couple of decades. Commonly called the black budget (more like a dead star black hole that sucks up light) the money is transferred directly from the treasury department to Warmonger, Inc. never to be accounted … as it never existed on record. BTW, as long as some is spent corruptly in my congressional district who cares (snark).

I feel pride that there are still some like AOC in government. There are still those that stand beside the Constitution, it is heartbreaking work.

Thanks for your info. I wasn’t aware of the ‘black budget’.

I knew it! Hordes of Scotsmen (and not a few Scotswomen and one trans) poaching golf balls out of the water hazards in violation of international treaties, followed by the wail of bagpipes, an instrument of war previously heard in the last major invasions of the United States of America in the War of 1812.

OK, OK, the guy is a crook already today and I just had lunch.

One thing worse than the dems under playing their hand is the republicans OVER playing theirs. It still sucks though, watching all of the powerful committees and the House leader wimp out.

“of why he must be impeached.” Tell that to spineless sellouts like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and their handlers in the DNC. I really believe that there are DNC bigwigs who would rather have Trumpo the Traitor in there for another 4 disastrous years than having a “socialist” like Sanders as president.
Please tell me, what the f*cking hell happened to our government?
BTW, for a good idea of how the Rethug Party has mutated into the appalling slime monster they are today try looking at the 1956 Republican Party platform. That platform would put today’s Democratic Party to shame.

I love AOC. However, there are rumors that certain operatives of the corrupt DNC are trying to find a way to “primary” her and limit her to one term. Nancy Pelosi has never expressed any enthusiasm for the “Blue Wave” as exemplified by AOC and “The Squad”. I’m sure that 78 year old hack would be relieved if they all lost next year. I can’t stand Pelosi, she is a disgrace.

If that were the case I would stop voting democratic. Maybe all together.
