WASHINGTON - Two volunteer crewmembers from the Sea Shepherd ship, Sam Simon, have been arrested in the Faroe Islands.

Susan Larsen of the United States, driver of the small boat, Farley, and Tom Strerath of Germany, navigator of the same small boat, were arrested at approximately 0900 local time this morning.

The incident occurred following what is believed to have been an attempted grindadráp, just north of Klaksvík in the northeast of the island archipelago.

I find myself to be in complete emotional solidarity with the Sea Shepard's anti-whaling efforts.
We no longer need to eat, get oil, or bone from whales. Get a real job.

Very dedicated and brave people out there in the middle of nowhere taking a stand far from the eyes of the world. The authorities can only hope that no one cares but they see that whatever they do that they should treat these brave decent people respectfully because the world is watching... Sea Shepard does not sail alone into the struggle to save the whales... they are carrying our support with them.

Yes we are paying attention to what happens to them and how they are treated.
