WASHINGTON - In a partisan vote, the U.S. House of Representatives today passed the so-called “Sportsmen’s Heritage and Recreational Enhancement Act” that would end federal protection for gray wolves in Wyoming and the western Great Lakes. The bill includes a grab bag of additional special-interest provisions that primarily benefit the livestock industry, National Rifle Association and those who peddle elephant ivory.
If they remove wildlife protection, then their (Rep. House members ala Cheney and pals) trophy hunting will be adversely impacted. (Sarcasm)
So much for foresight or caring or compassion or sensibility or responsibility...they are devoid of conscience and only dance to the beat of the extraction industries that lust after public land use while filling the profligate House members' campaign coffers.
