Let’s see: under capitalism, US law allows the for-profit aircraft manufacturer Boeing to grade itself on safety; for-profit drug makers to grade themselves on safety; for-profit nuclear power plant operators to grade themselves on safety; for-profit coal mine operators to grade themselves on safety; and so on.

Judging by the grades they give themselves, we should never worry about anything.

In Ayn Rand’s twisted world view, and in that of her fellow cultists, these sociopathic parasites are heroes. If only they would all jump on a 737 MAX and fly away to Galt’s Gulch, where there is nobody to exploit but each other, assuming they don’t nosedive on the way there.

Gee, that extra money will come in handy if he gets sued personally, which would be cool. If the executive suite of malfeasant companies had to pony up in court it might make them be a little more responsible. Unfortunately incorporation and some added legal hocus pocus usually protects the gilded perps.
The only realistic solution is to clear cut the executive suite, sans golden parachutes.
