A cynic might think Uncle Joe likes how these guys view that awful, nasty social security that Biden has a lifelong enmity to. Hmm…a puzzlement, as Yul Brynner might say.

Here’s a testament to how bad Biden’s been:
I hate the guy. I hate his party, even as I like some people in it.
And he’s managed to be worse than I expected. He’s literally changing nothing of the worst aspects of the Trump regime. Which, of course ,validates everything every leftist has been saying for years.
I can’t answer the question of why so many people fall for this stunt again and again and again. People with obvious intelligence, but for some reason, when it comes to politics, their eyes glaze over and they keep stumbling into the same punji pit year after year. And then when you try to help them sort it out, they get angry. Defensive. As if they’re infallible.
But these are the people–in both parties–that are killing us all. And still they won’t even consider doing something different. Anything different.

Uncle Joe being wealthy all his life does not sense the pains and agonies of people on the barely survivable Social Security income. These people have worked 30+ years and put away part of their incomes for when they’re too old to work. I cannot understand why social security is “broke” by some accounting and well financed by other accounting. It is their money that was not to be used for anything else. But the damn hyenas in the GOP and wall street have had SS on heir cross hairs for decades. This money was earned, every dime of it, it is not a hand out and rightfully belong to it’s owners not the bloody mouthed hungry wolves of wall street and GOP corporate fat hogs…

Don’t be so hard on the guy. He is just trying to keep his campaign promise, which is more than can be said for many in Washington. He promised and is working to keep the promise, “Nothing will fundamentally change.”

Ex: Remember towards the end of 2020, Dump via another millionth exec order, temporarily stopped all Federal employees from paying FICA. He & all other Rethuglicon politicians thought it was such a great idea that needed to be expanded that he vowed should he win his King status in Nov., he would PERMANENTLY STOP ALL FICA from every Americans paycheck. Btw: No one in government couldn’t say he wasn’t legally able to really do this!! The result would have been that all SSA funds would run out completely by mid 2023, and SSDI recipients would be out of all funds by mid 2021. Think about that stunt!!
We got very close to another national Dump disaster! Nothing even close to Biden’s efforts to cut our treasured safety net!!!
The People need to take action with Biden. Stop feeling fat & satisfied, talking about Biden being another FDR bs. Tonight, I sent Bob Casey a postcard giving thanks for doing the right thing. I will also throw him a few bucks. That’s how our system runs.
The People; the elderly, the disabled, all recipients of SSA have to let their pols know what they–The People demand.
Change always comes from The People. Never elites or corporate pos.

Let us not forget that Biden spent a lot of time in the Senate trying to get SS cut. He bragged on the Senate floor about trying 4 or 5 times to do so. Should we expect that he would suddenly change his thinking? I doubt it.

He’s always been a guy from Delaware knowing which State he comes from, so it’s no surprise at all when he assures his rich donors that “nothing would fundamentally change,” that’s Joe. We only had to look at his opening day fund raising event for his prez run with many of the usual corporate suspects to know and understand this.
