US Blamed for Airstrike in Syria That Killed Dozens Sheltering in School

Andrea Germanos, staff writer

The U.S.-led coalition targeting the Islamic State (ISIS) is being blamed for an airstrike on a school where families had sought shelter near the northern Syrian town of Raqqa.

The monitoring group Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least 33 people died as a result of the Tuesday strike.

Gee, now that its Trump's war, the prog media is all "up in arms" over US atrocities - where was it when it was Obama's war ....

#3

Same place it has always been and it really isn't Trump's war since he isn't doing squat about it.

#4

As long as the bombs fall and the guns shoot the "wrong" people are going to suffer. Their may be just wars but there can never be a good war. This one is neither.

Quote from article: '"According to United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the conflict is "the worst man-made disaster the world has seen since World War II,"'

So what about the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of civilians killed and maimed in the Bush-Obama (and soon to be Trump) slaughter in Iraq? Has that atrocity already been white washed from American history?

#6

And, incomprehensibly, they do not care.

#7

What does Our Captured Government truly think about the lives of Syrian Citizens?

"Piss 'em off, it's good for Business (read : Endless War)."

#8

Please remember that the Dems are responsible for this damned war. Clinton gleefully advanced it , Kerry reluctantly continued it, and Obama lacked all conviction by allowing the two of them to persist.

16 total years of war, in Afghanistan, Iraq, Pakistan, Yemen, Somalia, and the US has won what? All of the young amerikan kids who gave their all in these countries, do their parents, brothers and sisters get an equal cut of the pie that the 400 richest amerikan families get? Do they get the same cut that the people who are totally invested in the Military Congressional Industrial Complex get? Yeah, I didn't think so! What great amerikan freedoms have our kids been fighting for over the last 16 Years? The right for the richest 400 amerikan families to remain wealthier than the other 99% of our country?

When did we become use to nationally sanctioned murder? Was it My Lai, Shock and Awe? Was it when the cops shot an unarmed twelve year, shot a fleeing black man in the back, broke a black boys neck, choked a black senior citizen to death? When does it end?

And don't forget the 3 trillion dollars.

It cannot be compared .... the terrorists are mostly the western world. Unfortunately none of their own folks know what attrocitites their own Governments have done.
Muzungu / Colonialists / Apartheid / Inferior fake Christians / alternate Crusaders / inhuman parts of the human race.

#13

And when you point it out ... they deny it.
To them what they and their Military have done is to them apparently 'Freedom'
Most Folks there have no conception of the harm and destruction their own Military have done.

Even as far as and as long as 33 of 'other' Children have died .... to them it does not matter.
To them these 'MUZENGO' it is like Cockroaches have died.
But for them when even one of them dies then all of them get together and weep.
Then even Presidents and Ministers from all over Muzengo Land ... they come together.
But who has wept for the 33 innocent Children of Syria .... Not even one.

5 more years and we get a gold watch

Hopefully we see the same condemnation when Russia does the same.
