In a "rapidly urbanizing world," the poorest mothers and children living in urban centers—in developing countries and Western nations alike—face similar obstacles and high risk of death, a new report by Save the Children has found.

Its hard to consider the subject and the article NEWS when medical outcome metrics in the US have been on a downward trajectory for decades with no bottom in sight.

As long as the US Government continues to gun for the insurance and drug industries at the expense of the 99% things will only get worse.

Obama's TPP and TTIP will subject several other nations to the same health degradation the US experiences, so the metrics for the US will actually improve after Obama wins on TPP and TTIP. Its all relative, right ?
