Another day, another WTF moment.

At least one judge gets it.

Expect republicans to go for broke as they’re escorted out the door. Republican members of Congress are already talking about how Trump “spent” too much money and now Congress/president needs to rein in spending. Of course this is right up austerity/paygo democrats alley.

It looks like Biden will win (by default, like who else). If democrats do not take the majority in the Senate – expect nothing. And if they do, expect little to nothing.

Republicans always spend us into a ditch. Of course it is always left to the democrats to clean up after republican regimes. They don’t only overspend, they find ways to steal or give away to kindred spirits.

From the former Black Panther Revolutionary, Neil J. Smith:

On The Ropes: A Tale of the 60’s

“Your book—colossal power, sharp, spot-on writing. Issues of rape and fratricide are explored with the dialectical seriousness that echoes Old Testament and Dostoyevsky. You break through the ‘cool’ that infects our modern world and show the human soul in deepest wrestling with itself.”[emphasis mine]

— William Packard, late poet, editor, professor, playwright, and writer

A new world is possible only with vision and intensity of caring for one another. To that end I post the recommendations to read this great work of contemporary historical fiction. Along with its substance is the riveting writing style.

The vocal minority have found their voice in a lying narcissistic psychopath. No Ethics, No Morals, No Conscience, No Redeeming Values. The political party of me, myself, and I. Tax cuts for billionaires, yes. Food for the hungry, no.

…geezus, i just realized that i miss Dubya-style “compassionate conservatism,” when contrasting it with the life-denying death cult of neo-Nazism.

May be? What was all that Rush to Judges for - except for stuff like this?

I believe JFK was the first president to implement the Food Stamp program even though Eisenhower was given the authorization to do it. Unfortunately JFK also significantly increased US involvement in the Vietnam conflict because he didn’t want to appear weak on communism.

Why was communism so demonized and an anathema to the US? Not because it was a horrible form of Government which may be true, but because it was seen as a potential threat to the wealth of the billionaire, economic , elite. JFK knew that better than most and probably signed his death warrant when he refused to attack Cuba after Castro removed the US quisling Batista. The American oligarchs and the Mafia lost billions of $$$$$$$$$$… and when JFK refused to oust Castro, you can just imagine their outrage!

Dorothy Day’s words came to my mind with regards to too many in US America: “Whose hearts are as cold as their pavements”.

Ask a half dozen people “Why Vietnam” and you get six different answers.

TPTB are really evil people who are so obsessed with their extremist neoliberal ideology that have no compassion or common sense.

Thyats what we’re dealing with. Both parties have this ideology, not just one. An ideology very few of the rest of us share.

They want wages to fall to Third World levels naturally. I grew up with rich people and met quite a few rich peoples children as a child and its amazing how they have this class awarenedss instilled in them at a young age. Even their kids knew that when jobs were automated away, the wages for the remaining jobs would plummet.

So thats what they are trying to hurry up with their trade deals, the crash in wages.

To bad they don’t have an app that would require Trump to pay his taxes and related financial obligations.

To me there is only one answer: $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!
