"The human faces of those who are condemned to second-rate broadband are a message to all of us."

Guess it just shows where our priorities are - one wonders where we'd be if there were just as much effort and dedication by as many folk to bringing universal healthcare access as there has been to bringing universal broadband access ....

There's LOTS more money in controlling healthcare.

Lots more money controlling the ISP market....All NC republicans are all for Major ISPs (verizon,Comcast etc) controlling the internet because the big interests have paid these crooked officials to say what they tell them to say....We have seen and herd their lies.....They take money and side with the corporate thugs who want to dominate the market with the help of the GOP...You know the GOP that champions less government but more corporate control and the people who suffer are the working Americans who have to pay more for less thanks to GOP and some Democrat sell outs....I hope NC wakes up and gets rid of these corporate owned assBag lawmakers before there is nothing left in this state that aint corporate controlled.
