Gerrymandering needs to die, alone in an alley coughing up blood

The key to this decision is courts and their importance. The GOP doesn’t control the NC Supreme Court so appeals will be carefully considered. A Democratic Governor no longer is dealing with a 2/3rds gerrymandered Republican majority in the Legislature after 2018 so Republicans cannot use that as an end-around.

A good first step!
END GERRYMANDERING — which is the opposite of democracy.

Note to computer programmers. Digitize state postal codes and their population. Use reiterative multivariate analysis to determine and create congressional districts of contiguous postal codes with a minimum outside boundary, including state boundary, and the required population. Let the populations vary to the degree that postal codes may need updating. A large variance was not intended, the supreme court will someday say to some cheater.

Congrats to North Carolinians who rallied and pressed for reform and to Common Cause. And thanks to non-partisan decision makers in the Judiciary. Now on to all the other states that face 2020 with gerrymandered districts.

Like super delegates and the Electoral college and the DNC

I hate to even suggest this, but republicans will attempt to use the next thing in their bag of deceits.
And if democrats are true to districting it’s a feather in their cap that republicans will have to respect. Well, obey anyhow.
