Warsaw Summit Was a Failure for Trump—But a Win for Netanyahu

Trita Parsi

With a joint statement that did not even mention Iran, there is little doubt that the Trump administration's anti-Iran Warsaw summit was an abject failure - at least when measured against the objective of creating an anti-Iran alliance.

That, however, does not mean that the summit wasn’t useful to some of its key supporters. Above all, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stands out as a clear winner of the failed summit.

You would think Trump would be in “full spectrum dominance” against Netanyahu’s

Israeli occupation of Palestine; since eighty percent of the U.S. President’s followers are
nominal Christians. What group of people could be more united with authentic Christians
than the all too long suffering Palestinians?
Thanks prof. Parsi. You revealed the “Christian fascists” (C. Hedges term).

The US will not put boots on the ground in Iran.

So this military punishment will come in the form of airstrikes.

So Netanyahu is poking a combination of Iran, Iraq, Syria, Hezbollah, and for what it’s worth, Hamas.
In the background, they will also be poking Putin. And China. And an EU increasingly fed up with both Trump and Netanyahu. The days of the US petrodollar are numbered, and all of the above will have contributed to its demise.

No surprise that the emerging fascist regime in Warsaw hosted this circus.
