ExxonMobil is one of the world’s primary earth killers and corporate criminals, and the corporate death penalty should be applied to them.

All the assets of Exxon & everybody else that colluded with them in their propaganda of denial, distortion, deception & outright lies about their products that have caused this existential crisis must be confiscated & used to mitigate environmental & climate disruption. That’s the only path to true justice & salvation of our biosphere.

Yet another corporatocratic billionaire who controls too much of what we watch, hear or read to add to the likes of the Kochs, Murdochs, Adelsons & Mercers.

But first confiscate all their assets to be used for climate mitigation.

They should also be investigating the New York Times alliance with ExxonMobil
where they gave them use of the OPINION Op-Ed pages to run anti-Global Warming
propaganda for decades.

As Ralph Nader pointed out – ExxonMobil’s propaganda on the Op-Ed pages could
not be responded to by any means – neither by Letters to the Editor or any other
challenge to what ExxonMobil was saying because the propaganda was terms
“ad-editorials.”

Just to remind everyone – ExxonMobil spent $50 BILLION on their anti-Global Warming
campaign which they knew were lies over a 50 year period.

It finally took the courage of Royal Academy of Science to make all of this known and
to openly challenge ExxonMobil –

Exxon Knew about Climate Change Almost 40 Years Ago …

Exxon Knew about Climate Change almost 40 years ago. “In the first place, there is general scientific agreement that the most likely manner in which mankind is influencing the global climate is through carbon dioxide release from the burning of fossil fuels," Black told Exxon’s management committee.

Since CO2 was discovered to be a greenhouse gas way back 1856, I would imagine that the oil and coal industry have known for a very long time, about this issue.

That exception was a paper entitled “Circumstances affecting the heat of the sun’s rays,” by Eunice Foote. In two brisk pages, Foote’s paper anticipated the revolution in climate science by experimentally demonstrating the effects of the sun on certain gases and theorizing how those gases would interact with Earth’s atmosphere for the first time.

Had no knowledge of this –

Corporate intimidation of progressive advocates is nothing new, unfortunately.
What’s remarkable here is that public prosecutors are denouncing it.
