'We're Not Going Anywhere': Sanders, Warren, and Ellison Vow to Stand With Workers After SCOTUS Undermines Labor Movement

Julia Conley, staff writer

Progressive voices in Congress spoke out on Wednesday against the U.S. Supreme Court's attack on public sector unions, as the nation's top justices ruled 5-4 against the largest public sector union in the country in a landmark case over union fees—and vowed to continue fighting for workers' rights alongside working Americans.

Way to go Mark J-ANUS! So you want to benefit when the union negotiates favorably for you, but you don’t think you should pay union dues. Repuglucans still and forever more will incorrectly link unions with Democrats, and target them for their attacks, and Al Gore with creating the internet.

Why just today a survey came out that the RWNJ’s fear a civil war, or violence on this scale in the next 5 years, and why not? They’re the ones who will start it when the next president tries to un-Fuck whst Trump has done to us.

To those who have been watching the murder of the American Labor movement by both American parties in turn, pronouncements of people who supported Hillary and now support Labor ring hollow.

Hey, maybe they can fish around for Obama’s comfortable shoes, I’m sure there’s plenty of tread left on them for joining picket lines. There’s a reason Democrats have Talked the same campaign themes my whole life - they’ve never Done anything about it. People who want a lot of the stupid things Republicans say get what they want. People who want what the Democrats say, never do. It’s time to stop beating the Jackass, let it die and get some representation in Washington!

And exactly where has Warren been? Nowhere on the Permanent War that destroys working-class people around the globe and impoverishes them at home. And she sits on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. Nowhere on $15NOW. Nowhere on REAL SINGLE PAYER (HR. 676). Nowhere on repealing Taft-Hartley. Nowhere on Zionism. Everywhere on Russia.
