What If There Is No Plan B for Iraq?

What If There Is No Plan B for Iraq?

Peter Van Buren

In one form or another, the U.S. has been at war with Iraq since 1990, including a sort-of invasion in 1991 and a full-scale one in 2003. During that quarter-century, Washington imposed several changes of government, spent trillions of dollars, and was involved in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of people. None of those efforts were a success by any conceivable definition of the term Washington has been capable of offering.

There is no Plan B as there was never any Plan A.

The only plan is the scam begun by GWB: interminable war. If we were to win, the war might end. We cannot have any plan to win, because by some act of God, it might succeed.

The scam is to simply sustain undeclared, unplanned, unending war, and let the next president dare to defy their wall street war-mongering campaign funders by somehow mysteriously mustering the will and courage to bring the war to an end. That will never happen so long as either a Democrat or a Republican is in the White House.
