As a historian, I wish Juan Cole would tell us really who were the good guys and the bad guys in WW I? If you look at it as a cold-eyed realist, it was an optional war among European colonial powers. The world may have ended up a better place if the US had stayed out of it, since there would probably never have been a WW II or Hitler. The course of the USSR may also have been radically different. This has no effect on the responsibility we have to honor those who gave their life in that war. Their country called and they responded.
Non-losers are out for themselves and get rich, apparently.
This one simple little statement shows the presidunce is the real loser as he is the one who has yet to run a successful business and actually make money!
