When Is Anti-Semitism Not Anti-Semitism? When It’s From a Trump-Loving ‘Friend’ of Israel

Gideon Levy

The only message of congratulations that Steve Bannon has received from abroad, apparently, since being named the senior strategic adviser in Donald Trump’s White House, is one that arrived on official Israel government stationery and was signed by Israeli Minister of Agriculture Uri Ariel.

Excellent analysis, and further proof of why Gideon Levy is the leading moral voice in Israel today.

The rightwing is truly international in its scope and interests, and loves Israel insomuch and so long as Israel maintains a rightwing militaristic attitude. The perfect mirror, of course, of those who unconditionally revile the country of Israel specifically because of the current rightwing regime, which, like the Trump regime, is subject to change in the future, and which ironically maintains a lot of its hold on power by pointing to those who unconditionally revile the country of Israel and declaring that backing off the aggressive rightwing hardline is just playing into their hands.

It is important to remember that most governments are killing machines with a hair trigger.

Very few governments have any other purpose than to help their super rich grow to infinity on a finite planet faster than the rich of other countries.

Name a government fully aligned with increasing the well bing of citizens and Earth instead of violence against all life and Earth to further enrich a very few already super rich..
