A Washington Post interview with a White House official garnered stunned reactions on social media when the anonymous staffer said that last week's school shooting in Parkland, Florida had offered the Trump administration a "reprieve" from negative media coverage.

Ah yesss, the proverbial good wind. As atrocious as that statement is it is even overshadowed by the beneficiary’s responses of blaming the FBI and the strangely underfunded mental health care system then tooling off for a refreshing round of golf. Definitely a greatly concerned leader there.
