White House Rule Change 'Makes Mockery' of Transparency Promises

Nadia Prupis, staff writer

The White House is set to announce Tuesday that it will exempt its Office of Administration from federal rules requiring it to comply with Freedom of Information Act requests, allowing the record-keeping agency to reject transparency asks.

Empires don't have to operate with no stinking "Transparency".

In fact, Disguise is the most important weapon of this Disguised Global Capitalist Empire, merely 'posing' as, and HQed in, our former country.

Just like predators, parasites, and cancers --- disguise is the dark friend of Empire.

Is a cancer going to give 'transparency' to an oncologist?

There may be many surface issues, and 'symptom problems', but cancer (and Empire) need to be aggressively and "adequately diagnosed" to find the real CAUSE below the surface.

As Zygmunt Bauman hauntingly puts it, “In the case of an ailing social order, the absence of an adequate diagnosis…is a crucial, perhaps decisive, part of the disease.”13

Berman, Morris (2011-02-07). Dark Ages America: The Final Phase of Empire (p. 22). Norton. Kindle Edition.

Today, in this 21st century and post-nation-state world the last Empire on earth savors, guards, and depends on its camouflage, its mask, its dual-party Vichy-political facade --- much more than an earlier Empire depended on its crude and single-party Vichy sham.

Ah yesss, the faded promises that could be used to decorate the White House fence. I wonder how much room would be left after the banners from all the past administrations.
