White House Syria Statement Raises Eyebrows

Derek Davison

The Trump administration may be gearing up for another military strike against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad’s military. Late in the day on Monday, the White House released the following statement:

"Most observers believe that Assad’s air force carried out the attack, though Assad and his Russian allies have consistently denied this. Over the weekend, investigative reporter Seymour Hersh called into question many of the details of the incident."

What a bogus article it assumes throughout that the April attack was Sarin while giving fleeting reference to Seymour Hersh. Hersh did not "call(ed) into question many of the details" he demonstrated unequivocally with references from US military and intel sources (he's very well connected) that the fumes were not Sarin but the combustion products of the bomb hitting an area where agricultural products and chlorine were stored. The term "most observers" is a lie as it merely refers to MSM's fabrications. Read the Hersh article in De Welt, as with all Hersh's work it is extremely solid.

This story should be retracted and Davidson never used on Common Dreams again.
