The thing is when the Republicans take power again down there, they will reverse these decisions.
There can not be “victories” here until the VAST majority of people get behind the protection of those places. Protecting the environment is not something you can just turn off and on.

Does this line of reasoning add the environmental cost of building and disposing of electric passenger cars to their retail price?
Will environmental costs of extracted materials for highway and bridge building and maintenance be added to electric passenger cars and trucks?
