Who's Funding the 2016 Election? Mostly, We'll Never Know.

Nadia Prupis, staff writer

Dark money groups have spent $143 million on the 2016 U.S. presidential election since last July—nearly four times as much as the candidates' own campaigns, Politico reported in a new analysis on Tuesday.

The origins of most of that funding will never be revealed, while some of it will be made public at midnight on January 31, just hours before the Iowa caucuses, writes Politico's chief investigative reporter Kenneth P. Vogel.

Bernie's principle of not attacking his opponents have served him well. However, I wish he would mention who is financing them.

Hillary, she's a sharpie, like a shark is sharp. In twelve speeches she received more in compensation than almost all Americans make in a lifetime. http://readersupportednews.org/news-section2/318-66/34513-hillary-clinton-made-more-in-12-speeches-to-big-banks-than-most-of-us-earn-in-a-lifetime

Of course these speeches must have ranked up there with Pericles' "Funeral Oration," Lincoln's Gettysburg Address, Roosevelt's "All We Have to Fear Is Fear Itself.," and Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar's" Mark Anthony's "Friends, Romans, Countrymen." Right? Who pays this kind of cash to hear anyone speak? NO one does, these are payments for past and future considerations, in other words bribes. ( it doesn't have to be a quid pro quo to be a bribe) She has, as so many in Washington and New York Power Circles, no shame.

To quote Katha Pollit's Hillary endorsement, "She's Ready, I'm Ready." And so it goes.

Who's funding Hillary? Guess.

And who paid the most: $675,000 (Goldman Sachs)...the CEO, Blankfein was the major financial backer for Chelsea's husband's hedge fund startup that lost over $400 million recently. Blankfein and Goldman Sachs are very cozy with the Clintons...all "cut from the same cloth" (as my grandmother used to say). They give new meaning to the Rat Pack moniker but this bunch goes one further and would not stop at eating their fellow rat.

Hey, maybe Roberts, Thomas, Alito, Scalia, and Kennedy could provide a list, albeit only a partial one. Lovers all of the Citizens' United boondoggle with which they hobbled the American electoral process. They will be handsomely rewarded when they leave the bench so they can live out their lives in total gluttony and hedonism.

It's gonna be Hillary against JEB!, with JEB! winning "by any means necessary" (just like his big brother George) and Jill Stein will continue to be an object of political trivia as she tries to outdo Harold Stassen and Ralph Nader for the most times attempting to run for president of the US.
