Why Trump’s Goon in Charge of Medicare and Medicaid Should Resign Immediately

Why Trump’s Goon in Charge of Medicare and Medicaid Should Resign Immediately

Alex Lawson

From Tom Price’s $1 million in private plane travel to Scott Pruitt’s attempt to get his wife a Chick-fil-A franchise, officials in the Trump administration appear to be having a competition with each other to see who can be the most nakedly corrupt. Seema Verma, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), is a top contender.

Just like other Trump appointees, Vermin is there to destroy the programs she is charged with.

Seems all these best people Trump has appointed only know how to cheat and steal from the programs they are put in charge of and every cabinet position need continuous Congressional over site.

They all are committing treason, and the most we get is posts of “debate” online. What happened to us as a society?

Some of the seniors I know are well informed and active for many political causes. Many of them have plenty of discretionary funds and are having a wonderful time in their senior years. Other are tired, ill, less articulate. Coming from a time when our government policies could be trusted to advocate for seniors there is little understanding of the need to fight for what they have earned. Seniors can be easily taken advantage of. I guess that why they call it Advantage Plan. The junk mail they receive is relentless and official looking. One good place to start would be to eliminate junk mail. Move to senior living with a good senior advocate on premises. Don’t trust anyone.

to: theoldgoat: Could good regulators help solve this medical data base system problems. No grant/funds should be implemented without INDEPENDENT regulators. Regulators should be paid well and should be held accountable, if they fail to report problems. Guess I am a bit simplistic. Think about Bernie Madoff, the 2008 financial crisis. Regulators failed us.

Where does he find these people? These are not your run of the mill corrupt bureaucrats. These are experts at destroying whatever good our government can do for the people. Trump must have his own private swamp that is much more putrid than we can ever imagine. That is where he finds his appointees.

The worst of our nation seem to become the leaders. Since they have no integrity they are so willing to aim for a job with all kinds of benefits including a revolving door that pays off in the end. We need to get some of the average people into leadership not career politicians who have never done a decent days work in their life. Has Trump ever done an honest days labor in his life? Did he serve our country in the military during Vietnam when so many others his age did? This guy is a fake who covers himself with the flag while more or less defecating on the american people.

Both parties as well as third parties need to check the resumes of their candidates- period. Dump never worked for anyone but Daddy Dump. Plus he has no experience or training in politics or law. In other jobs for instance, someone has to have the training , certification and experience in order to land a job- even a minimal one. Also Dump was sued by NYS and lost just before he was installed in office, and that also should have disqualified him.

TERM LIMITS! That is what we need- no more career morons.

He probably found them with help of dark money.

And end lobbying as we know it including the revolving door. No more million dollar salaries on K Street for ex-congress people. Those on the take know they better follow the lead or that big paycheck won’t be waiting. Congress people need to start doing their job and listening to the people - not to lobbyists.

Regulators were paid off no doubt., and they also should have gone to prison.

No lobbying or bribery period.

The suicide rate for middle agers and seniors is exploding, and the MSM only talked about this once about a year ago. Nice you know so many rich seniors, but that is not the majority .

I’m pretty sure it’s called the Republican Party.

In this (and the other cabinet posts), I think Trump is too ill-informed to even know the havoc he is wreaking. Somebody tells him, “This is a terrific appointee for this position” and he buys it. His level of ignorance is rivaled only by his banality and narcissism. He’s a total fake, devoid of any substance. You can see this daily in everything he says and does.
