Will Saudi Arabia Stop UN From Investigating War Atrocities in Yemen?

Sarah Lazare, staff writer

The Saudi Arabian government is unleashing a vigorous diplomatic campaign to block a United Nations proposal for a human rights investigation into the country's six-month-old military assault on Yemen—waged with the backing of international powers including the United States.

President Barack Obama has so far remained silent on the resolution, which was submitted by the Netherlands Thursday and calls for the UN Human Rights Council to launch a probe into abuses committed by all parties.

Secret bank accounts have this purpose: to keep secrets hidden, particularly when it's about secret executions, murders, and/or military support of murderers and murdering countries like Saudi Arabia, but there are more to be added to the list, including the USA. Is Obama's bank accounts of the secret category?

It's unfortunate that so many civilian deaths are missing from the stated 2,000 in this article?

Latest Yemen Health Official reports concurred with latest UN reports that have injuries and deaths in the tens of thousands with civilian deaths at a minimum of 4,500 and likely to be much higher, with civilians comprising 86% of the fatal casualties. Its a dreadful barbaric slaughter by Saudi Arabia and its allied dictatorships but crucially fully supported by western powers and arms.
