With Landslide 189-2 UN Vote, International Community Once Again Rebukes US for Cuba Embargo

Andrea Germanos, staff writer

The United Staes once again displayed its near its near total outlier status on Thursday after the United Nations General Assembly overwhelmingly voted in favor of a symbolic resolution denouncing the 58-year U.S. embargo against Cuba.

Haley’s Comment is just another example of the isolationist mentality of Trump’s driving our nation into the ditch, and refusing any assistance from any tow trucks.

Sure is getting lonely, we used to have friends, they used come over for dinner and such. Where did everybody go?

Everybody sat down at the grownup’s table to talk about important stuff, leaving just two at the kid’s table, shoving their mashed potatoes around on their plates and glowering at their peas.

I’m surprised that Saudi Arabia didn’t join its partners in real human rights violations, the US and Israel, at the kid’s table. The article says that there were no abstentions and that Ukraine and Moldova didn’t vote. Can anybody clarify?

As an aside and just to illustrate how two faced the US administration is.

The USA recently announced they were pulling out of the INF treaty claiming that Russia in violation as they were developing weapon systems prohibited by the same. Within 10 days of making that announcement the US Navy announced the successful intercept of a Medium range missile by the Aegis Cruiser system this a clear violation of that treaty.

Now wait what is the issue did not the USA pull out of the treaty? Well the treaty prohibited the DEVELOPMENT of such systems. Are we to believe the USA got this up and running in 2 weeks? The US of A was in violation all along.

We will soon enough all be Cubans in our own country. The charges of human carnage wrought and human rights violations by Rodrigo will be blowing back in on us.
Chickens are coming home to roost.

After 58 years of revenge on Cuba, Miami Cuban geriatrics still hate. They can’t get to heaven no matter how many Virgen del Carmen statues.

Our grand hotelier President is missing out while Canadian and European Cuba hotels proliferate.

Not in his warped, reckless “mind”. According to Trumpo the Klown he has accomplished more than any president in U.S. history. Delusion - meet Donald Trump, your prize student. This country is in the thrall of a monster and his treasonous party.

In looking at the drawing of the stupid cowboy on the cactus, I can’t for the life of me figure out what he is holding in his right hand. Anybody have a clue?

Looks likes a poor likeness of a cowboy hat at first glance.

Keep Haley from getting any other offices. She’s said to be looking around for something.

The “third world” countries are becoming more powerful as the average income of a US resident goes down. That vote may portend something ahead.

Unfortunately, there’s no real power behind these rebukes of the US and its
Embargo against Cuba – nor it’s “illegal wars of aggression” across the planet –

How does a peaceful organization bring a lawless giant of a MIC like the US/CIA to obey laws and order?

Fortunately, the world has grown up in regard to recognizing criticism of Israel’s leadership
and their policies against Palestine as legitimate and distinctly different from anti-Semitic
comments or anti-Jewish propaganda.

Even Americans who practice the Hebrew faith and who have long supported and funded Israel
have now awakened to the difference between criticism of Netanyahu’s policies and anti-Semitic
prejudices.

And rightly so!
