The World Medical Association (WMA) has urged its national members and all health organizations to divest from fossil fuels and transfer their funds to renewable energy sources, stating, "the effects of climate change and its extreme weather are having a significant and sometimes devastating impact on human health.... The world now needs to transfer to electricity suppliers who are renewable."
Green Party presidential candidate Dr. Jill Stein has been ahead on this issue for years. She mentions it in a thoughtful interview with comedians W. Kamau Bell and Hari Kondabolu, along with corruption of the medical profession, and Ron Paul's sort of endorsement of her (Ron Paul is also a medical doctor), and other issues.
Hari Kondabolu said he was convinced after this interview to change his vote from Hillary to Jill.
